Privacy policy
Updated 11 October 2026.
This page says what cpg.computer collects, why, who handles it for us, and how to have it deleted. The short version: your code, your data and your logins stay yours. We see what we need to keep your computer healthy. Listen sees only what you choose to share. We never sell anything about you.
Who we are
cpg.computer gives consumer brands a private computer in the cloud and helps them build the software they run on. It is run by Culture Classic Ventures, LLC, 110 E 25th St, New York, NY 10016, and made with Listen. For anything on this page, write to hello@cpg.computer.
Your account
When you sign up, we keep your name, your email address and your brand's name. If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your name and email address and nothing else. We use them to run your account and to write to you about it.
Your computer
We set up a private computer for your team and keep it running. Our software on it reports how the computer is doing: memory, disk and processor use, which services are running, how many devices are paired, and when your agents were last active. It does not send us your code, your files, your prompts or what your agents say.
Our software has full access to your computer, because keeping it healthy needs that. When someone on our team opens a terminal on your computer, to set it up, fix it or help you, we record that session and keep the recording.
Your coding agent's login stays on your computer. We never see your password or your agent's tokens.
Your code and your app
Your code lives in a private repository we host for you. Your app runs on servers we arrange. Its settings and keys are stored so that, once you save one, nobody can read it back, us included. Preview links you share stop working after two hours.
Shopify and other connections
When you connect Shopify, you give your computer and your app read access to your store. That data stays in your computer and your app. We use it only to run what you build, and we don't look at it unless you ask us to help.
Sharing with Listen
Listen is a consumer venture firm and our partner in cpg.computer. Sharing with Listen is optional and off by default.
- Off: Listen has no access to your computer, your code, your app or your data.
- On: for each screen of your app you choose to share, Listen's investment team can view that screen. They can't reach your raw store data, your code or your computer.
- Your switch: turn sharing on or off for any screen, at any time, from your settings.
Sharing gives Listen no ownership of your data. Listen uses shared screens to understand how consumer brands grow.
What we never do
- Sell your data, personal or business.
- Use your data to build benchmarks or industry comparisons.
- Share your data with anyone except the providers below, who handle it only to run cpg.computer.
- Look at your app or your data without your permission, apart from keeping your computer healthy.
- Use your data to train AI models.
Your coding agent
What you send your coding agent goes to its provider (for example Anthropic or OpenAI) under your own agreement with them. Their privacy terms cover it, not ours.
Visits to cpg.computer
We count visits with Umami, which we run ourselves. It sets no cookies and does not follow you to other sites. For each visit it records the page, the site that sent you, your browser, device type and screen size, and a rough location (country and city) worked out from your IP address. It does not store the IP address itself.
On a sample of visits to our website, Umami also records how you move through a page: where you click, how far you scroll, and a replay of what the page showed. A replay stops after five minutes and never includes anything you type. Inside your account we count page views only.
Who handles data for us
- A cloud computing provider runs your computer.
- An app hosting provider runs your app and its database.
- A network and security provider carries traffic to cpg.computer and your app, and keeps standard logs, which include IP addresses.
- A sign-in provider handles accounts and passwords. Google does too, if you sign in with Google.
- A code hosting provider keeps your repository.
- Our email provider holds the email we send and receive.
All of them process data in the United States. We don't show ads, and cpg.computer carries no third-party trackers.
When you leave
You can leave at any time. We give you your code, an export of your app's database, and a list of your app's settings. Within 30 days after that, we delete your computer, your app and your repository.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask for a copy you can take elsewhere. Write to hello@cpg.computer, and we'll answer within 30 days.
Children
cpg.computer is for businesses and not meant for anyone under 13. If we learn we hold data about a child under 13, we delete it.
